Location: the hotel was just off the center of Sendai, convenient stores, local market and Sendai station and all main activities. We dined out at Tokai Ippinko, set not very far from the venue.

The staff here were really friendly and gave us some good recommendations, and the breakfast had plenty of food options that were satisfying.

It is close to Sendai Station and is not too high in price.
The walls and doors are a little worn needing some fresh paint inside the room I stayed in.

The singles are quite small but they have everything you need for a short stay (but not a long one). Everything in the room has bilingual explanations so the place is quite foreigner friendly. The bathroom is well stocked with supplies and there are even clothes presses down the hall.
That said, these are quite small room for foreigners. The toilet only fits in the bathroom by turning it at an angle and the shower is quite tight. You bump into the walls nearly every time you turn around (which makes noise that people in other rooms can hear). There is no closet space if you plan to stay longer than a couple of days. But as a business hotel it works just fine and was very reasonable.

Convenient location right downtown, close to a beautiful shrine 🌸, with clean and cozy rooms.

The room was stinking of cigarette smoke. I have never seen such a small bathroom. Television set lacks explanation in English. Heavily over priced. Do not go there unless the Salvation Army is your only alternative.

Great breakfast service.
Part of the staff has a low level of English.

The price is reasonable (in Japan's standard) and the room is sort of reasonably clean.
The hotel is very old and the room size (including the bathroom) is so small that I can not even lay my luggage flat. Other than sleep, you can not stay in the room for too long if you don;t want to get depressed.
